About Hip Zephyr

I love working at Hip Zephyr because I love our customers. Being able to share the joy of clothing and the inexplicable sisterhood it creates is immense. Fashion allows me to express myself and bestows mega confidence. I love the juxtaposition of trends vs. classics and the mixture of color, pattern, and texture. My hobbies tend to center around fashion, travel, shopping, history of ancient locations and architecture, and sunny destinations. I also love sports -- I played basketball most of my life and follow the North Carolina Tarheels. We travel as often as possible to see live games.

Fun Fact: I live in West Seattle with my husband, granddaughter, step son, 5 cats, and 2 dogs -- cozy!!!

There are many reasons why I enjoy working at Hip Zephyr but my #1 is working with our customers. Being a small boutique, I have a chance to get to know many of our customers personally so when they walk in the door, I'm excited to see them and help them find something special and hear what's new. I like fashion because it's fun following the trends and helping customers find a special item that makes them feel great. My hobbies are golf, tennis, and traveling the world. I also love UW Huskies football ... Go Dawgs!

Fun Fact: I was a lifeguard in high school and had to do CPR to save a boy's life.

What I like best about working at Hip Zephyr is interacting with our customers and helping them feel confident in their wardrobe choices. I like fashion because you're able to artistically express yourself through different looks, textures, and colors. My favorite hobbies are traveling, gardening, creating art, and cooking.

Fun Fact: When I was at MIHS and Tom Hanks was filming "Sleepless in Seattle", I served him an iced mocha when I worked at a drive through coffee stand (that used to be in the Rite Aid parking lot) on Mercer Island.

... another fun fact is that I make pickles every August. ​

What I love about working at Hip Zephyr is meeting customers who are excited to be styled. I'm also passionate about fashion, particularly because I enjoy seeing the changing trends each season. My favorite hobbies include shopping for myself and others, as well as traveling the globe.

Fun Fact: I'm currently a UCLA student studying to become an independent college consultant.

I LOVE all the ladies that work at Hip Zephyr and Dana. It's like having a work family. I love fashion because it gives everyone a way to express who they are. I love quality over quantity, timeless over trendy, and unique pieces. My hobbies are pickleball, playing games, gardening, I love art, walking, swimming, skiing, anything crafty, cooking, baking, traveling, and being with my family and friends.

Fun Fact: I was born in Mexico City and I am fluent in Spanish. 

I love the small community of women that both shop and work for Hip Zephyr. I also love being part of a small, local owned business. Finally, I love the opportunity to curate outfits to match a person's vibe and occasion. I like fashion because I love being a part of the upcoming trends and getting a sneak peek before each season. Fashion is a way to showcase your personality. My favorite hobbies are spending time with friends and family, moving my body, indoor plants and outdoor flowers, and moon/star gazing.

Fun Fact: I completed one of the hottest recorded ironmans -- it was a one and done!
